Sanding Discs

Whitby Abrasives sells sanding discs for random orbital (DA) sanders, die grinders and angle grinders. We are a Canadian distributor based in Whitby, Ontario. Wholesale buyers can use our sanding disc catalogue.

• 6" gold aluminum oxide hook and loop sanding discs: 6-hole in packs of 100 (assorted grits, or grit 40 or 60), no-hole in packs of 50
• 6" mesh and diamond-pattern discs, assorted grits, packs of 50
• 6" backing plates: 5/16"-24 thread for DA sanders (6-hole or no-hole), 5/8"-11 for angle grinders and polishers
• 2" VSM ceramic quick-change discs, 36 grit
• 3" purple zirconia quick-change discs, assorted 36 to 120 grit, holder included
• 4-1/2" and 5" x 7/8" semi-flexible silicon carbide discs, 36 grit, for masonry and coating removal

Match the hole pattern to your sander's pad so dust extraction works. Mesh discs need no hole alignment. Diamond-pattern discs have no holes. The diamond is a lattice on the abrasive face.

Type R / TR quick-change discs mount on a holder in a die grinder or drill. Ceramic cuts fast and cool under firm pressure. Zirconia suits stainless steel and welds. For angle grinders, also see resin fiber discs. Never exceed the marked maximum RPM.
