Quick-Change Discs (Type R / TR)

Our quick-change discs come in 2-inch and 3-inch sizes, all with the Type R / TR quick-change mount. Each one screws into a disc pad holder in a die grinder or drill, for deburring, weld cleanup and paint or rust removal in tight spots.

• Sanding discs: 2" and 3" resin fibre, 2" VSM ceramic in 36 grit, and 3" purple zirconia, for weld grinding and stock removal. Ceramic and zirconia suit stainless, and ceramic cuts best under firm pressure.
• Mini flap discs: 2" and 3" zirconia, in 40, 60 and 80 grit, for grinding and blending welds.
• Strip and clean discs: 2" and 3", including an assorted pack, to remove paint, rust and coatings without gouging the metal.
• Finishing discs: 2" surface conditioning discs for cleaning and blending, plus 2" polishing discs in silicon carbide non-woven and wool felt.
• Holders: a quick-change disc kit with a 2" pad holder, an optional 3" pad holder and a mandrel.

These discs fit Type R / TR holders only. Both the disc and the holder must be rated at or above your tool's no-load RPM. Some discs here are rated below a typical die grinder's top speed.
