This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Whitby Abrasives Inc. ("we", "us", "our") through our online store. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms below.
14-Day Return Window
We offer a 14-day return policy. You have 14 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return. Requests made after 14 days will not be accepted.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition you received it: unused, in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached, and accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase.
Quality Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of every product we sell. If you receive an item that is defective, damaged in transit, materially different from its description, or otherwise fails to meet the quality standards we advertise, you are entitled to a full refund or a free replacement, at your option. Please contact us within 30 days of receipt with a description of the issue and clear photographs so we can verify and resolve the matter promptly.
How to Start a Return
To start a return, contact us at info@whitbyabrasives.com with your order number and the reason for the return. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Returns must be sent to: Unit 2, 1450 Victoria Street East, Whitby, ON L1N 0N7, Canada. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Restocking Fees and Return Shipping
We do not charge any restocking fee. For returns due to a quality issue, defect, damage, or our error, we will cover return shipping costs. For all other returns (for example, change of mind or ordered the wrong item), the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return relates to a quality issue or our error.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately, and in any event within 7 days of delivery, if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned: custom or special-order items, items marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase, gift cards, and items that have been used, altered, or installed. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific item.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be issued automatically to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please remember it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your refund, please contact us at info@whitbyabrasives.com.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled at no charge prior to dispatch. Once an order has been shipped, it will be subject to the standard return process described above.
Business / B2B Orders
For business and wholesale orders, the terms of any signed supply agreement or purchase order will take precedence over this policy where they conflict. Otherwise, the terms above apply.
